There are some serious problems with this series, the core story is great but the execution, animation, translation is garbage. The story is about a master being forced to take up disciples and during training the disciples fight with real sharp weapon in mock battles as dangerous as real fights. The disciples engage in these fights against other beginner martial artist with no hesitation of throwing their life away. The author/illustrator could easily make it more realistic by use of blunt/training weapons. Have the characters stop announcing ridiculous names of their moves that are embarrassing. And inject some physiology in sword fights/ real combats. With sharp swords against lightly armored opponents a sword fight is over with 1–3 exchanges… and fear of being sliced or injured in their hands or vital points would make anyone that is not insane hesitate and battle their own fears.

Art is really not to my taste, and the MC was so unlikeable that I couldn’t read past chapter 5. Maybe it gets better later, but I don’t want to waste my time to get there :zero:

77 chapters in, still very well both written and the art is good. No AI slop here. I have no idea why the grading of this one is so low? This is good quality stuff, not one of those generic bland ai slop at all.
