A brief description of the manhwa One Step Divine Fist:
Born as the son of a wealthy family, ‘Jang Geon’ was destined for ruin. To turn his fate around, he had to live a simple life under the guidance of a virtuous monk.
Given to the frugal monk ‘Gyeongmok’ at Shaolin Temple, Jang Geon spent his days in rough cotton robes, barely getting by on plain rice…
While enduring hunger and minimizing movement in his daily life, he stumbled upon martial arts and managed to apply his mindset of thrift to it…?

love it , love the idea and concept keep releasing more chapters best thing i’ve read recently

Good manhwa!,but first chapts are too harsh for a kid.
this is good slow but good

It’s good.
The MC reminds me a lot of the MC from “Fist Demon of Mount Hua”. Both series’ being night and day compared to eachother, but also weirdly similar.
It’s a slow build up, but it’s a pleasant read. After 15 chapters it feels like it’s just getting started.
ch.15 as the latest chapter as of writing this comment…
Still waiting to figure out the MC’s connection to the title…
At the early chapters 1-3 a bit slow but something intersting happens at the end of chapters 3 and makes you want to read more.

Damnnnn i didnt know it got axed

A conveniently grounded story, now that’s rare. I really dig this so far, let’s see how this unveils.

I like it
This is good
They don’t overdo mc and he feels like a person i mean imagine your average murim story where mc starts from childhood and already know it all or overly talented out right
while this story presents it more naturaly
i’d rate it 4.8/5 but if this quality stays for more than 30 chapters then 5/5

I read chap 1 to 3 and suddenly I ended up in chap 15, that’s strange.
It has potential so far 111/10 everything is amazing
Heh nah.
A big NAH.
I read until ch 35 before writing this and I think will drop it soon.
This work seems like about a HUGE mistreat innocent kid by ignorant shaolin people made by equally ignorant author.
In early chapters, the author even seem have no clue how shaolin-life is. The story and plots really circle around the fate of mistreated kid or how they will mistreat it after. That and that and will always that.
I just dispise this kind of ignorance and misunderstood cliche, plot and writings. The most cheap way to write one, which could simply ignore history, previous plot, relations and every story’s details.
Char build? Its quite good.. if itsnt introduced to ignorance thingy that is. MC’s char build? It will always be like, he gained huge by doing something small. Itsnt by coincidences like another cheap daily updated work out there. Theres some flimsy side story for others, but that will always linked to MC.. cant even say if its a proper side story tho.
Work art is.. is not appealing and really lacking in colour. Perhaps the main reason why author pick “shaolin” as his story setting is because he cant draw another appealing attire considering how ignorance the author is when its related to Shaolin itself.
Story…………. 3/10
Plot…………… 3/10
Details………. 2.4/10
Charbuild…… 6/10
Workart……… 5/10
I wont recommend this one.
You might be able to endure the early chapters, but the repetitive, ignorant cliche, plot and storytelling will bore you in no time. With no appealing workarts, there’s really nothing left to hold on to.
