I started to read with no expectations at all. First impression was from the art, my first manwha where the drawing is in a disney-loke style, which kind of lowered my expectations from newtral to sceptic.

But then the story started to unfold, and I am getting more and more intrigued. It is a complex story with many actors and mysteries, but just as the drawings, simple as well. And not in a negative way, in the opposite, it seems like good storytelling with a clear structure and easy to grasp. That is not easy to do when juggling all these characters and plots, I am impressed by the writer.

The focus is on the intrigue not the development of the characters so far, but it does not feel shallow.

The back ground scenery and houses inside and out is the (IMHO) boring murim brushes, clip arts and 3D models that is used in 9out of 10 series the reasent years. And as in most of them it is not used in a clever or interesting way, but gives the same copy-past feel as most of them do. (I guess I could also just copy-past this comment into all my reviews of them.) That said, with the extremely hard working conditions, bad pay, too long hours that makes so many artists end up with bad health I can not find any foult with doing this, even though it minishes the reader experience. It also feels more in line with the drawing style in this series than most, as it works well with the Disney-feel. But it would have been fun to see also the back ground made exclusively for with this art in mind.

So far so good, I’m now going back to keep reading.
