So far so good. The web novel is easily one of the most read and commented on almost any site… Similar to the Omniscient Reader’s. It is also extremely long at over 800 chapters and quite a lot of chapters requiring almost 8k english words. Because a lot of historical, multi-religious, and multi-cultural (taoist references in BOTH korea and china…) context is required for the story, I hope it doesn’t lose the nuance.

The end of the story connects to the very beginning seamlessly… Almost everything foreshadowed or doesn’t connect smoothly was even fixed retrospectively by the author, producer, and director. Like the top web novel series, this one is truly a labor of love and sheer ingenuity. If the manhwa adaptation goes wrong, I will truly be sad for weeks.

I didnt expect much in first chapters, but it glue me to the screen and i even opened novell, even though i didnt have much time to read it
Story is quiete interesting, but I would have really liked if there was more side characters in his regressions. Pacing is fast, but well executed. I read from one of the commentators that its probably due to us being in prologue, and that artist working on manhwa would probably slowdown after it. Thats probably why manhwa lacks side characters right now
