Blood Demon Reincarnation

It’s only been 5 chapters since my last review (8-13) however I have to say, this is far better than the art may lead you to think. After reading it for the first time, I kind of forgot what this was about, but just followed along weekly to see how I felt about it.

Chapter 13 is kind of the real starting point of the story it seems and more important to me than anything else so far is that this story has HEART.

We’ll see if the story writing matches technically with the amount of compassion the author is trying to share in this story, but I hope that it does.

The main character’s struggle is not revenge, it’s not justice, it’s about survival and it’s about believing in one’s own compassion, and that to me is very special. That is something that I feel a lot of us need in our stories these days. Heroes that don’t just so power progression and wish fulfillment but heroes that struggle to get better because they have to, and have trust in themselves not just about power, but of their own humanity.

Anyway, as much as I’ve said touted the message in the character’s progression, the story so far is “ok” at best (70% or 80%) but isn’t impossible to follow. If you’re like me and on like a 100+ comic diet, this is a good one to add into the rotation.
