Continuity is the Father of Magical Power

After reading 13 chapters, I am at a loss to see why it was dropped in some way. It has the standard op of a mc setting, plenty of cliché running through it but not enough to be over done, an easy and stable pace to the story line, no story line jumping, no extra heavy dialogue, the mc is definitely restrained in the romance area even though the girls have found their white knight (they are young kids), no extra heavy morality and it looks to be a solid base to build from. By all the standard rules of a manga, this would have been looking at a very good to great manga rating just with what it has achieved at this time. If the events flowed through a fraction faster (creating suspense and thrill), then yes, it would be looking at the great manga rating. Maybe because it was not fast paced enough, it would not get the great ranking so dropped it? Maybe it was too generic? Unfortunately it has been over 3 years since update so I will book mark it and chuck it in the “to be reviewed in a years time.” Pity, I wonder how this would have gone at the 20-30, 50-60, 100 odd and the 100 plus chapters?
