Just personal oppinion, but this is one of the most amateurly written regresssion story. The only redeeming factor is the reverse setup, everything else falls short imo.
-Motivation is not set, no real pressure or goal in sight whatsoever.
-Character background is lazy, like a 12 year old’s fantasy, super short and haphazard.
-World is not built well – skill system not respected – and crazy unbalanced from the getgo (power inflation is over the roof)
-No crew or supporting characters. Very low engagement or serious connection.
-Weak enemy or danger – where you stop even caring about the motivatio.
I rarely drop a story but I feel very justified after 40 chapters. There are at least 3-500 better mangar or manhwas (that I know) out there to read. I reccommend not starting this
wow. so now instead of one person regressing everyone regress? then whats the point? (I didn’t read it yet)
I read the light novel to the end – it’s really good. For those unsatisfied with the manhwa, please give the LN a chance.
5.9/10, honestly. It’s… okay. MC is a bit arrogant (but we’re used to this) and honestly not very likable. Interesting concept, but not great execution. Enjoyable only if you really have nothing else to do read, but it’s not horrible. I’ve seen worse.
Ranking System:
11: My favorite manga/manhwa of all time, forever.
10: Stop. Read. Now.
9: An outstanding performance in every single category, and more.
8: A work of art that perhaps is not fully fleshed out, but pretty close.
7: Very good, and definitely give it a read when possible.
6: Fun, engaging, but nothing special.
5: Decent, but somewhat boring. I liked it, but you might not.
4: Questionable, but I won’t tell you not to read it.
3: I definitely wouldn’t recommend you read this, but it could be worse.
2: It couldn’t be worse.
1: At this point, why bother?
0: Avoid at all possible costs. Read at your own risk.
the thing that pisses me off is his stat distribution
4.4/5 u should read if ur waiting for ur main
honestly the fact he doesnt know whats happening makes it so much better
Let’s try
There’s alot of obvious problems the author doesn’t address. One of the bigger being that the mc was a loner in the past run yet there’s a bunch of information about him from before he even became famous, and of course after.
the butterfly effect that says that even small changes can lead to different timelines
There was another on I can’t remember the name where everyone were regressors but the MC.. and prior to their regression he was THE powerhouse no one could touch an they all wanted to kill him..does anyone remember the name?
They gave the mc to overpowered a unique ability he has more stat points than a level 100 right at the start when everyone else is not even level 14. I have no idea how they’re going to balance it, but I’m interested to see.
ill be back when there is 50 chapters
All I can say is the logic in the first 3 chapters is nonexistant. The MC is from a famous mercenary force, yet is living in a shitty rundown apartment. at the store he buys a new machete because his old one is “getting dull.” a gate opens a goblins start flowing out, and one of the weapons people start using are chain saws. which are for some reason full of fuel. The soldiers that show up after a while are seemingly next to useless / poorly trained and mc just snatches one of their guns straight from their hands.
all it shows me is that author put next to no thought into the start of the plot, and I can’t expect much for the rest of the story.
just a bit of through and I can already come up with a better start while keeping most of the same points.
Start with mc in shitty appartment. continue with the orphan story.
get to the store and see the literal wall of machetes. remember merc days, and add in a reason why he has piss poor job opportunities after. maybe he pissed someone off.
instead of having him buy it and use it to cut bubble wrap, just buy the bubble wrap and have the gate spawn, or have him looking at the machetes when the gate spawns.
grab one and use it.
have people use something other than a chainsaw thats fueled for some odd reason.
for the soldiers instead of just showing them being shaky and saying they’re basically useless, show it. have them fight but too many of them can’t implement their training in actual battle. have at least 1 get killed and mc picks up the gun then takes out the rest of the goblins like an experienced veteran soldier.

Yeah… it’s a good thing this got axed. Aside from the plot being written by what seems to be a middle schooler, the mc is lame as hell, the conflict and resolutions are both uninteresting, and to top it all off, there’s a suspicious amount of borderline if not outright pdf behavior.
Can’t recommend this.
Which sucks because the premise is fascinating and really cool.
