Summary

A brief description of the manga Heavenly Demon Cultivation Simulation:

A group of scouts have been assigned to the area of the Mount Hua Sect by their great leader, ‘The Mantis.’ The protagonist ‘Seol Hwi’ faces the Hua Sect Master ‘Goo Jong Myung,’ and falls in mortal danger.

A status windows then pops up and made him return to the time before he accepted the scouting mission. Once he receives the same scouting mission that left him dead, Seol Hui struggles to change the unavoidable reality.

A status window that appears every crisis. Choices with uncertain future. The story of Seol Hwi as he tries to find the best decision in his world mingled with life and death.

Genuine review.

We see the mc struggle. struggle to survive, struggle to gain strength, struggle to live, and even after everything, we still want the mc to become the best and finish this game. That is what this manhwa does to a person.

It is one of the greatest manhwa i have ever read. The art is great, the story is excellent. You’ll feel depressed, angry, happy etc when reading this manhwa.

It might feel a little dragged on, but seriously, it is great. I’m gonna let this go until it finishes before i start reading again. I stopped at chapter 178. I’m only stopping because i can’t handle the suspense, and i think this manhwa will complete by like chapter 230-250.

But anyways, this manhwa should at least be a 4.8-4.9/5. A masterpiece as one would say

4.6 star? it’s deserve or even more since it keep getting better. Yes, you should not give up and keep reading this except me.

I have one problem with this manhwa, in term of gamelike author decide to make turn-based genre on the beginning but it will slowy change to action rpg genre gamelike at later chapter. I like action-rpg (i play a lot) but the transition to change is not.

What make this manhwa unique is turn base combat system style which i never seen or read in any murim story until now.

To change genre in middle of updating it will make some reader dissappointed even mad or bored since author just made another action murim story like everybody else.

At first i like this manwha because they use turn-based system battle, but on later chapter it become normal action system just like everybody else, do you know why?

Because author is so bad at math like in early chapter author decide introduced enemy stat with more than 10.000.000 (10 mil) point and mc stat only 10 with increment 10.000 to 15.000 despite all cheat and opportunity mc have, of course author burn his brain (get headache i think) enough to change that system with the reason, “System is bad.. mc will not finish the game if too rely-on.. on that system cheat like ability…”

I am turn-based game lover, i wanna see story STARTED & ENDING with this kind of system, but author blaming the system irk my feeling…, “it’s your fault, Author. Don’t blame the system, just because you bad at math and didn’t plan properly with good schematic writing, you ditched turn based system. You should APOLOGIZE to all turn-based gamer”.

Well.. this just my oppinion (hatefully), ain’t no way author read this comment

It’s really bad in the beginning, but it gets really good, i mean too good once it picks up pace. Even MC becomes likable later.

Its awful at first but after becomes really good after abt chapter 60.

Early chapters Mc is a dull dimwit and its honestly hard to read. If you manage to continue you will find a really entertaining manhwa where the character growth is top tier.

It’s now more than 4 years since I started to read this story, and I still enjoy it. But I have to save up chapters, it just gets confusing and looses it’s pace for me with one chapter a week.

I also pick it up at times and start over as I end up forgetting the different arcs over time.

Better than avarage (4/5) because of dynamic plots (i love story branching), teach you the importance of not skip the basis, but in the end feels a little bland to me.
