I Killed an Academy Player

Ive read until chapter 92 and ill say its ok….Just another power fantasy slop manhwa. It gets insanely repetitive coz the solution to everything is basically kill it or occasionally get a powerup mid battle.

Its the usual harem slop, MC will always have any woman fall in love with him regardless yet he will never do anything with them. I mean yeah they do go on dates but nothing beyond that. Its sh*t writing coz writers make every single female character a potential love interest yet afraid to upset the gooners aka “fans”. I dont really care for harem type stories, but dudes got an over abundance of p*ssy yet he wont even eat one. No matter what, hes clearly shown hes not dumb about how they feel about him, and theres legit chapter 86 to 91 which is made even more obvious yet he wont do anything. No kissing or anything resembling romance, just dragging them along coz they are useful to get to the ending he wants.

It occasionally has somewhat interesting and funny chapters but the vast majority gets insanely repetitive. I mean MC no matter what he does is always weaker than everyone seemingly Not sure why its written that way, coz then he is saved by the plot.

Any other male character is just made irrelevant to make space for another female character who quickly falls in love with mc, There is literally no other male character in this story who isnt treated like cannon fodder, except the main antagonist. Though whenever he shows up he always lets the ‘heroes’ get away, just for them to come back stronger coz plot demands it. I just now realized that literally all ppl on the antagonists side are all male, atleast those up to chapter 92, and most of the key figures on mcs side are all (mostly) women except for like 4 dude who barely show up for a few panels once in a while and rarely ever get to fight or contribute much of anything.

Basically Chapter 1 might be the best coz its somewhat unexpected, funny and sorta unique as anything in this type of genre goes but beyond that everything is a mixed bag of linear and repetitive progression towards the end of the story where he has to fight the main antagonist.

Ill iterate this isnt bad nor is it all that good, it has a set audience who would love this and probably good for manhwa noobs. Beyond all the surface level stuff its bland except for the Immortal Lork panels most of it is just OK.
Ill rate it begrudgingly a 6.5/10 coz its way repetitive, its occasionally funny, but extremely rarely to find myself going “thats cool” and the pointless harem just kills it for me. Like its as if having respectful platonic relationships is impossible nowadays in any manhwa.
