The title is only slightly misleading. I never felt comfortable enough to enjoy this, really, it just felt tragic the whole way through. They both make so many terrible choices, and the resolutions are so unrealistic, it felt like they were delusional, not like they were approaching a happy ending. If you can ignore the many, many red flags and just pretend things are fine, this is probably a very sweet romance.

Chief among the red flags, in case you didn’t read the title, is an adult developing a romantic attachment to a teen a decade younger. I had friends who did that, except she was a nice girl from a good home, not an abused runaway turned prostitute. They loved each other and raised a great family, and they both constantly regretted their terrible mistake, and their situation was so much better than this. Maybe that’s why I can’t pretend this is a nice story.

I don’t understand why people hate this. I thought it might be some kind of trash based on the title, but figured I’d give it a chance… Got hooked and read the whole thing in one sitting. Hit me right in the feels man. Granted I’ve only read what’s translated here, but most of it is pretty wholesome to be honest.

There’s literally nothing good about this story.

A young girl was abused and chose to run away, using her body for food water and shelter. The mc provides it without raping her and she is willing to commit to him in a relationship after graduating.

Who is this for exactly? Guys who like highschool girls? Well, he rejects her for that reason so I guess not. Horrifying abuse? The abusers never get any justice. Guys who like extreme drama maybe?
