One late night, Yamamoto, a college student working part-time at a convenience store, reunites with Hayashi Megumi, his high school classmate and the most beautiful girl in their class. Known as the “Queen” for her strong-willed and arrogant personality, Yamamoto had always found her difficult to get along with. However, during a routine conversation, he notices painful bruises on her wrist. After learning that her boyfriend had been abusing her, Yamamoto decides to let Hayashi stay at his place…!?
It’s a read definitely worth your time. There’s a good mix of (possible) romance, drama…and hard to explain a bit of trauma. The manga mixes these with relative ease and doesn’t over fixate. A bit of humor is sometimes inserted, but it isn’t forced. As of the 19th chapter, there are quite a few routes the story can go, but the unpredictability is an amazing draw.
good romance and crazy amount of potential the author managed to set up for this. Highly doubt this will fail because theres abt 5 good routes the story can go😊

Finding a good romance manga like this one, with actually believable portrayals of human interactions and relationships, feels like finding water in the desert.

I have a theory why this has very few comments.
It’s because the author presents a fairly realistic portrayal of abuse with an MC who goes hard in the opposite direction.
