Leveling Up with the Sword

To the current latest chapter of 93, I will say that the story is actually quite great. I should state some of its bad habits first:
– The author have quite a bad habit of overusing comedy, even in serious situations. I will admit that they are still pretty funny, but they kind of ruin the tone of the story alot.
– Sometime the MC is abit dumb, this applies to other characters too but mostly the MC. He is an enjoyable character and grow alot, but he suffer the same thing as other MC with being airhead, sometime muscle brain and kind of risky.
– I will just straight spoil that the students in the Academy hold no relevancy out side of introduction. The other Leon was introduced so grand, he then never appeared again till now even though we are already seeing the saintess on the move.
But outside of that, this is an enjoyable read. MC is great, the side characters are really great, especially Karen. There aren’t many of those annoying hooligan like in other stories and most are really likable. The story so far is really simple but still attractive enough for us to dive in without overthinking. The art between Ss2 and 1 didn’t change one bit and I guarantee you will like Karen. If they are continuing with this momentum, the story will only get better overtime.
