It’s a good 7.5/10.
Nestle would’ve killed a lot of people to get someone with MC’s divine tool. Only in Japan kid authors can imagine unlimited water creation being useless.
I update: This manga has some real charm but lots of frustrations. It’s not carefully built so some very clever ideas are mostly wasted. Especially the central mechanic is poorly explored and very under-utilized. The situation could be epic drama but is aimed at small children instead. Characters are likeable and the comedy sometimes lands. It probably should have 3.6 stars, the fact that it has more means you’re more likely to enjoy this than should be the case. I weakly recommend this.
Summary: MC is a younger son of nobility whose magic gift is not a skill but a chalice that can produce a cup of water from nothing. He is ‘exiled’ to be Lord of a dying desert town and quickly discovers that the cup has more possible uses and can be leveled up. In the meantime, he begins rebuilding the neglected town and discovering lost treasures.
All i can say is that this manga is all about yapping 90% and 10% exploring the full capabilities of mc’s power
“MC’s special trait is that he has an artifact that produces unlimited amounts of water? How useless, surely water only has a handful of uses beyond keeping one functioning more than three days! Let’s exile him to the area that *gasp* has hardly any water at all! What a brilliant punishment, surely this won’t backfire in any spectacular fashion when he leverages said resource!” Suspension of disbelief is being stretched to the utmost with that plot summary, but I suppose I should reserve judgement until I’ve actually read it.
Just wondering what is MC [Cup] size?
An exiled MC story, unoriginal but entertaining enough. Characters are likeable, villains are senselessly evil, world-building is sloppy. MC is a child so the obvious romance setups are going nowhere. Not a recommend, but not a warning. It’s fine.
I’ll probably read this when they start translating every chapters that has been released. Currently only 18 chapters translated but there’s apparently 26+ in a different language.
Anything on this I want to see more
Endless water? DROWN THE WORLD, C’THULLU RISE!
Btw this Manga has not been cancelled, there are 26 episodes out, but no one is translating them.
Given the recent droughts in the USA, Italy, Spain, France, Germany and probably more countries, I think that would be a very welcomed tool.
Rudeus becomes jesus
This is worthy to be bookmarked.
