The human race is on the verge of destruction at the hands of Vidrak, the evil god who suddenly descended. Setsuna Cromwell, the strongest long-range mage, is defeated by the evil god, who can dispel all magical attacks.

However, when he wakes up he finds himself 10 years in the past, he’s regressed to the “Rite of Mastery” at the Academy of Magic!

While the students choose the magic system best suited to them, such as <Ranged Magic>, <Recovery Magic>, and <Formation Magic>, Setsuna chooses <Close Combat Magic>, which was considered the least popular magic of the time, and chosen by those of lower ranks who lacked magical power.

“This is the only magic that can stand up to the evil god!”

Setsuna chooses this style of melee magic, which is considered lacking in every way, but utilizes his specialty “precise control of magic power,” to dramatically improve his skills and overturn the world’s common sense!

Mangabuddy always have more chapters for what ever i read in here and in there is ends with chapter 72

Some part of this story is annoyingly slow as they keep on stalling with some background story or what happen moments ago and then it’s like one chapter where mc does a lot. Like more then we see in 5 chapters basically. Like some fights take few chapters and then it’s a chapter like 72

Damn, I would love to read it but looking how few chapter it is. I’m afraid I don’t like reading with an incomplete short manhwa that leaves me cliffhanger in the end and expect me to wait forever and forgot it existence before it finally comes back.

not the worse manga ive read, but, what so bad about this manga?

the Nth regression (cliche)
bad (outer & inner) dialogue ( known as the best magician, MC just plain stupid in deducting even it was his 2nd life )
wanna-be-altruist-hero-of-all by saving even those bad apples and unknown students
don’t-need-to-guess-the-plot
spies in school, headmaster obv stupid
if fuyuki23 really making the art of this manga, you’re wasting your time.

I wanted to like this I really did, the thing has a fairly decent idea but just about everything is dont in the dumbest way it could be,
