Summary

A brief description of the manhwa Return of the Broken Constellation:

Very good artwork, first few chapters when MC was getting his powers were a good read. But it’s so damn boring now. The power curve is flat, constellation dialogue spam is very uninteresting. Plot has derailed big time and the last few chapters has had me barely paying attention so it’s time to call it and stop reading this.. Shame because they are still clearly putting a lot of effort into it. But the characters are so damn boring.

Yea don’t listen to all the people saying this is good. It starts off good mc wants revenge on the gods and first 40 chapters are hype. But then plot goes to shit things just happen for no reason there are no developments it is revealed that to kill the god he needs to increase his understanding of the gods power but it has been 80 chapters and he hasn’t killed a single god just goes from dungeon to dungeon without any purpose keeps getting stronger but no plot progression in sight you can’t even measure mc strength tbh another story which got me really hyped but fell off due to author not knowing what to do with the story and how to progress or pace the different arcs we have been in the same 1st arc for 80 chapters and still counting

I started to skip chapters at around 45-55. Perhaps i’m still recharging after Tomb Raider King. Art is actually good. The story… i mean, it’s okay, really. But it’s just doesn’t click with me, one of the reasons being the amount of system messages and power ups. I think i’ll comeback a lot later to maybe read till ongoing,

I’m sorry but this is very boring, op characters from the get go= almost 0 chance of character development.
Same stuff with dungeons, lvl system, god’s, etc.

Its sick. Should be ranked SS. The art is top tier and the story is authentic.

Obviously its not original. It uses all the same tropes and cliches. The gods who cant fvcking talk but send text boxes all the time like losers. The gaming leveling system. All that shit.

But its still really awesome and thats coming from someone who is LONG PAST BORED OF THE “~the retard god is estatic you have skill blah blah blah~” and all that gaming system bullshit.

So tired of that shit. Yet i was glued to this story, its pacing, the action and the art.

Its a mix between Solo Leveling and Leveling With the Gods.

The essence of the story leans more towards Leveling With the Gods but there are some aspects that are closer to Solo Leveling

Such as the “Guilds in the Korean City” aspect and all the social media nonsense i cant stand. All the popularity stuff where players are idols in real life….etc etc.

It also shares the other stuff as Solo Leveling (like they all do) such as the Dungeons, monsters, gaming leveling guide etc…

But still. Its core foundation is more similar to Leveling With the Gods which is why its great.

MC is basically a War God trained by the primordial gods (constellations etc) and gets sent back to earth because of lots of stuff to become even more op by using the Gods and the gaming system (just like LWTG)

Anyways. Dont miss this. Its great.
