It’s a drop for me after 45 chapters. Too much plot armor and every significant event just happens to occur the MC arrives. Also a number of head scratchers like the fact that they have cars but just about to invent a train.

MC comes back after 20 years and just happens to know more about FDA rules and regulations than a whole magic towers expert team to basically cheat the system. Who thinks of this stuff, it’s annoying

time of the review: 44 chapters
story 4.9/5 now here me out it’s pretty typical an Mc getting reincarnated into a new body and trying to fix his territory but honestly I liked it more than expected there isnt anyover the top things everything seems logical and mixes up well giving a very nice outcome

character development 4.7/5 the Mc is very well establiched there is like one or two moments where he grows as a person and that’s it now here me out that’s totally okay for a story like this and it doesnt lower my rating at all also the way he got more powerful as a mage helped his territory grow and everyone around him was super nice

art 5/5 no complaints very well done

fan serv? very minimal which I like there are a few good looking characters here and there but not too much (ofc everyone is good looking but I talking about hot/sexy looking)

fights 5/5 MC DOES NOT CARE he kills enemies without a second thought just boom dead the fights against stronger enemies are very believable he almost loses but wins bc of his preparation and outsmarting the enemy since he has a ton more experience and knowledge than basically everyone

pacing 5/5 a very good job from the author there are new chalenges every couple of chapters funny moments emotional moments fights it’s all there

should you bookmark?YES it got a lot going on even tho it’s only 44 chapters for now which honestly is empressive for me

final rating 4.8/5 I’m very surprised this isnt more popular specially that there are some manhwas that are similar that are loved by many anyways I’mma let this one marinate so I can binge read it

Well even if all receipts were destroyed by demons or what ever in the White Tower then the people who made the potions should still be around and should know how to make the potions so they should be able to rewrite most of them and still produce them when they do them mass production. So that part dont make much sense in this story. Also the part that the other magic towers didnt take any damage or had any impact from the demon was is weird also. How come the other towers got easy rebuilt and also the empire dont support the white tower to rebuild when they were the heroes who saved the world for them.

With the power of magic tropes, martial arts tropes, and reincarnation tropes on our side, we might have a next contender for peak, especially if our MC keep indiscriminately slaughtering his enemies, and the side characters don’t have too heavy plot armor.

So far, it’s not under or over rated. 4.7☆-4.8☆ makes sense. The story is pretty decent, typical mage kind of story.

I read all six, so far:

MC is generic. Towermaster, 9th tier mage reincarnator. Wakes up in a low tier body because of course. His old students are somehow failing or absconding with his teachings. His tower is failing because of course.
MC is at least not naive and seems ruthless against his enemies.
Magic looks boring right now. Nothing flashy, no cool magic system explained for now. No world building so far.
Standard tropes of helping his tower advance by stepping on the toes of other towers with a generic “who tried to kill my current body” plot on the background.

But it’s not annoying or bad.
No chinesium demon lords, they died in chapter 1.
