The Newbie is Too Strong

The Newbie Is Too Strong is a mixture between streamer manwhas such as: Ranker’s Return (Remake) & Archmage Streamer along with the notorious tower manwhas we’ve seen a thousand times. Instead of going the more serious route, the manwha seems to be playing on comedy from the chat along with the “lighthearted” looking art. Though, there are times where this manwha seems to be having an identity crisis. Up until every moment, it radiates a wholesome feeling, but seemingly out of nowhere, the mc becomes violent and cold blooded; mixed feelings come from said actions because the art style does not match the violence supposedly displayed. Along with these factors, would I describe it to have a good plot? No, definitely not. Random characters with a “deep” history pop out of nowhere at times and not much of the mc’s background is revealed either. Most of the rewards seem to be for convenience’s sake as well. But at the end of the day, it’s a streamer + tower manwha, do you seriously expect godlike plot from that combo? It’s a fun (and cozy?) read, but it doesn’t try to appeal to “hard” readers…

PS: Unlike my previous reviews, this is the first of many that will come from my bookmarks I have been reading on and off. If I remember anything wrongly, please correct me in the replies so other people know.
