Summary
A little republic in the early 20th century was caught between an empire and a kingdom, both of which sought to use the republic for their own ends.
The republic established a tiny force of troops whose duty it is to put down revolution and dissent in whatever manner possible in order to defend itself from both sides of the fight. The Opera House’s history is described here.

I was about to say it has a similar vibe to Tanya the Evil, but according to another commenter, it’s by the same author.
As of chapter 5, it’s interesting, but I don’t like the gratuitous violence. It seems kind of edgy at the moment. It’s established that they’re war hardened soldiers who don’t give a damn, but their motivations and beliefs are still murky. The world building is kind of rough and I think it’s still being fleshed out, but it still hasn’t grabbed my attention yet. There hasn’t been a “this is why I should care about what they’re doing” moment yet whereas in Tanya for example, the mc is thrust into a war with the clear to see motive to survive at any cost.

It says action but its more scheming and such the art is nice but its not a fantasy its more honed an the espionage side of war than actual war, it s a post war manga. which is not bad it feels kind of boring right now as of 13 chapters I expect it to get better, but it can be read.

heh I dont understand

Same author as Tanya the Evil. Will try it out to see if lightning strike twice
Looks peak-ish
