Touru, the girl, the naughty child they picked up in a back alley, and the old landlord lady join together as companions, setting out on an adventure to become heroes. A man who lived through the depths of despair decided to move forward and widen his horizons.

Slow paced. But good. MC not overpowered from the start and is growing steadily. Good manga. Would recommend.
pretty strong start, but it just gets pretty bad, and not so enjoyable to read after chapter 10.
This is actually a really good story, though unfortunately the translation doesn’t quite do it justice. The main character has a cheat-like ability, but he’s not overpowered — his skill has clear limitations, and that makes the story more grounded. Other characters also have strong abilities, but none of them feel broken or unbalanced.
I really enjoy the slow-paced adventure. The MC and his party don’t rush into things or make reckless decisions, which reflects his 25 years of experience as an adventurer. It’s refreshing to see a story where the characters act with wisdom and caution instead of jumping headfirst into trouble.
Another thing I really like is how the skills and abilities are portrayed. Instead of using the usual digital status window like in most isekai or fantasy stories, this one uses a more organic, magical presentation — and it fits the worldbuilding really well.
