A brief description of the manhwa Dungeon Defense:

When his total scumbags of parents die, he finds himself with a mysterious inheritance of 500 million yen.

author is propably ret ルーベン・バレド$)#), at least dumb. if you like things like ‘MC stole royal treasure, king wants to kill MC, but MC tells king that he will not do it again and king believes that. Later MC does it again and even kills king, everyone prise MC, because he killed innocent honest king’ this anime will be for you. for me I am happy that they ended it. rightful emperor afte a few minutes realise that she is not rightful? mc loves someone, wants to kill everyone that hurts her, but later he’s like HAHA do it everything yourself bitch? The worst possible scum, demon lord, lets trust him?! He can summon 5 golems, 1 golem can kill 1/3 of enemies, but 5 golems is not enough. he need to torture himself, be a dog to win??? Idea about story is great, but details are trash, they destroyed something that had potential

this is good but you will have to ignore common sense and logic while reading this, I’m only on chapter 23 and there has been several confusing points:

mc tricks a bunch of adventurers into trusting him (he injures himself, he gives them money etc etc) and then he kills them all by using an op golem which makes no sense since he had access to the golem ages before all this so he did the whole thing for no reason
he “tricks” this vampire guy Ivar to lend him money despite already owing him, and he apparently just got some random employee to say: “I’m tricking the mc into being a slave so please give the mc money equal to the GDP of a small nation” and Ivar, despite being portrayed as a smart guy, just agrees because yes
he then goes to this banquet and gets surprised and thinks he’s being stalked when the most influential people there found out he incited a murder, which doesn’t make sense since the mc decided to do the whole thing in PUBLIC to like a crowd of like 100 people, HOW ARE THEY NOT SUPPOSED TO FIND OUT?

anyways there’s probably more that I haven’t mentioned/missed

This manhwa actually had two different novels one that was his first draft which in my opinion fucken sucks and the second which fixes everything wrong with the first one but was cancelled due to plagiarism allegations. I fucken hope it’s not the first one that was adapted cause fuck that shit is a mess

Mangaread has just reminded me that this Manhwa exists after they put this up in the top latest mangas on the homepage, yet, there’s been no updates for so long. Welp, I guess I’ll just rate this and bookmark it for newer readers and for me to see if this gets updates. I rate this 5/5. It’s Perfect.

I can’t speak for the Novel, but I can speak for this Manhwa and the only available 30 Chapter’s. And I’m loving this. The Art is Great, the Pacing, The Story and so on. The best thing about this Manhwa, is the MC, he’s intelligent and smart. He’s not strong, but he has an good Brain in his head and the Heart to pull of dangerous feats to survive. It reminds me of “No Game No Life” and “Death Note” with how Intelligent and Manipulative MC is. MC checkmates his enemies a lot and it’s very satisfying.

But, it’s not without flaws. For one, why Demon Lord’s? So far, it has not explained why Monstrous Creature’s rule Humanity. For two, Dungeon Defense? Aside from the first few chapters when MC escapes death, there’s been nothing aside from Politics. And the most obvious flaw, there’s been no updates for so long. BRING THIS BACK!

The People criticizing this for “Lolis” need to go back to Twitter or Reddit tbh. Stop being afraid of a 4 Letter word. People here saying “Too Many Lolis” are lying and exaggerating, and are haters that again, should go back to Twitter or Reddit.

If you’re not gonna complain about the Murder, and Corrupt Politics and Profiting off of Crisis that this Manhwa shows. Then you have no rights to B1tch about Lolis in this Manhwa. It’s pretty damn good actually, there’s this one character in this Manhwa that gets mentioned a lot, and you get surprised that she’s a rowdy Loli. Really gives off Anime Vibes. I like it, and the mention of “Walpurgis Night” reminded me of “That” Anime. If you know, you know. 😏👌
