Hiding Out in an Apocalypse

The comments are overreacting. This does not earn the hype it gets (“8.4/10”)

Redundant narrative, op loser mc (the author say it themselves on multiple occasions), unfulfilled harem (a normal harem is as bad as it gets already, but this… is self-inflicted edging atp) and alooooot of flexible realism (to the point of hardcore make-believe) .

The good points are, that the plot revolves around already established points (despite the redundance in that, it’s a plus), the worldbuilding and premise are pretty awesome, the comedy is more than decent (only the toilet gag sux after the 5th mention) and there are some wholesome topics (especially in the beninging.)

It’s good, but wants too much at the same time. This work is a jack of all, master of none, since they failed to capitalize on it’s discerning suit: either realism or sci-fi/fantasy, potential fan-service, actual war machinery and their correct uses.
The mistakes in the art are sometimes very off-putting and the politics are really heartless and half-baked. There’s oppositions and whatnot, but the mc does random shit most of times. The idea is slightly original, but the execution lacks distinction and actual development of its characters.

I personally call this the night rider apocalypse survival, because the boxed narrative brings up elements and innovations in a vary narrow way.
