A brief description of the manga My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, No One in This Other World Stands a Chance Against:

High school student Yogiri Takatou was on a tour when he woke up because a dragon attacked their bus. The only survivors were him and his screaming classmate Tomochika Dannoura.
It turned out that the other classmates had received superpowers from Zion, a woman who introduced herself as “The Sage,” and ran away from the dragon, leaving those who had not received any powers to tear the monster apart.
And so the misunderstood Yogiri was sent to a parallel world full of dangers. Still, Zion has no idea who she called!

It was fun while it lasted, but starting at chapter 58, the writing and artwork fell of, HARD. It’s like the creator was being rushed to finish it, and couldn’t even be bothered to create full chapters anymore. The last three chapters are about 5 pages each of of non-sequiturs and overly-convenient coincidences.
Not sure how much to say here, there are several plot twists to not spoil. That’s both a good sign and not as good as you would expect. I’ll say this; the story is imaginative, the characters are interesting and mostly act in credible ways, I was never bored. It has an anime at least partly because it’s a compelling story. Also, the story is told more from the POV of the FMC; it makes the story better that we don’t know all of MCs thoughts.
MC is stupid OP, but it never turns into One Punch Man, which by all rights it should have. I still have no idea what ending it’s working towards, and the pacing is good, so it could go on a long time yet. I strongly recommend, even if you aren’t grabbed by the first few chapters; a lot of things change as MC (and we) discover things about the world and the story gets re-framed. Again, Strongly recommend

As of August 5, of 2024 the latest chapter is 46 this is translated to English and 49 for translated not in English both were far from what happen at the end of Season 1 in the English latest chapter it was the part where they found the assassin where the leader of the assassin group that can create anything from their previous world so he killed him at later discussion and on the not translated in English it was the part where the Sage Sion (The reason they were transported to the other world or isekaid) command them to kill each other like that sword master from the previews episode where the last one will be granted as the Sage title I believed but you know after that I think in Anime it will be episode 12 where Sage Sion was defeated and Goddess Mana where also defeated and the Famous line ever Mana: Die!, MC: No, you die!.
I hope I could help those incoming readers after finishing the anime prolly on the latest chapter will see what happen after Risley gave her Philosophy Stone (I don`t remember but something like Philosop….).

Definitely an interesting read, but at some point just turn ur brain off and stop trying to make sense of whats going on. It gets wayy too convoluted to make sense of. Still pretty fun though

For anyone wondering: yes, it’s exactly what it says on the tin. If you are here looking for some struggle or real high stakes entertainment… you are looking in the wrong place.
Can’t call it awful, and it’s intentionally poking fun at those op mc characters that have been cropping up everywhere. Does it do it well enough to justify itself?

Ive read the web novel, and enjoyed it immensely, mainly because you can read the notes from the author saying that he’d actually accept people’s op powers to give to characters, specifically for the mc to kill off.
Don’t take it seriously, because it doesn’t take itself seriously. Or so I would say, because while it doesn’t take itself seriously power scaling seriously, it takes the romance aspect seriously. Mc likes 1 (and only 1) chick, and he’s not out to get some harem. It also has some very sweet backstory that I enjoyed reading.
overall… a solid (biased) 8/10
