Huge meh. It’s has a somewhat fresh concept but it ruins it in execution. MC is the classic generic japanese MC with a plain personality.
He was apparently raised in a society that considers all other species as their natural enemy and trained all his life for the day such species would escape to attack them. The moment he sees one and this one acts hostile he decides to fight back and kill it.
But the moment a female does the same he goes all Japanese MC and tries diplomacy.

Also hot childhood friend. I don’t need a harem tag to know where this is going.

It’d be pretty neat if Kai turns out to be Cid doing this journet again and again in an almost (cuz this one would be the different one, it would be nice and unexpected if not, but you know) endless cycle of saving the world using this cheatsword and sealing it by using it as a lock and key to rewrite the past, and the world returning to it’s original state after the power of the key loosens and everything goes to shet again.
Also, rasterizer kinda look like Rinne… suspicious indeed

Seinen tag is misleading, this is shounen to the core!! This manga is not bad, it was written seriously and the art were drawn nicely, but the cliche-ness(?) was so common like almost every shounen mangas it’s becoming cringey…
