This one is unfortunate.

The first season is absolutely great. It takes its time, it’s full of interactions between the MC and supporting cast, the art is wonderful and it’s full of personality.

The second season feels like 3 seasons compressed into one. Entire arcs happen off-screen, just described by “MC wiped out this faction and became friends with the Emperor”. Interactions with other characters no longer serve to develop said characters, just to further the plot. Even the art, despite having the same artist, became a bit less consistent, less expressive, and with fewer interesting backgrounds or establishing shots, though the old quality does shine through in places.

The final chapter is just sad and pathetic. It starts before the final part of the fight, then the main villain is off-screened, and it goes straight to the epilogue portion, without even showing all the main cast. If S1 is a 10/10, S2 is a 7.5/10, and the last chapter is a 5/10.

For a murim manhwa with 6/10 art, it’s got a 7/10 shonen like story

5/10 is like any other murim manhwa that has cliche stuff i dropped around chapter 20 but i can tell where its gonna go. Hes gonna fight all 24 martial artists bandits etc which is boring knowing that hes stronger than all 24 masters even his master said it. just think of it as a cliche manhua just not worth the read. Plot very obvious, he was strong ever since the start hasnt change, gonna fight all the 24 master 1 by 1 by get looked down on etc just annoyin will not contiune reading

Im going to be completly honest, the fighting scenes gets skipped to much or finishes to fast, but mostly in important and hyped up scenes makes this manga a bit worse but still passes 8.7/10

Yes, it’s back… i love this one dearly.
Can’t wait for more of the plot to unfold, or even more backstory… whatever it will give me i will eat it up. Just pure bliss.
