Mc is dumb as bricks, so much so it’s a miracle he’s even alive after a few chapters
I find all that and naive restless characters like mc annoying, so it’s not my cup of tea
But it’s not BAD bad ykwim
40 chapters in 5 years this has to be just a side piece to work on if bored for the author

Fun little manga, but it has one of the worst update rates I’ve ever seen for a manga that isn’t a long running Shonen. I remember reading the first few chapters of this back in 2018, 6 years later, and we’re still not even at chapter 40.
Art is alright, but it’s nothing crazy; chapter length, while not short, also isn’t particularly long. Story is what you’d expect from an Isekai, and while the first 20 or so chapters have decently fast plot progression after that, it kind of grinds to a halt, which is kind of unacceptable for a story that gets as few releases as it does. It’d be something worth following were it not for the release rate, which means it’s something to binge read in one sitting and then never think about again.

This is a great book, this is recommended to the people who like isekai and dragon type novels. I give it a 9/10.
I love the novel. MC’s later evolutions are so badass. I wish this novel would cross over with monster hunter

This manga is full of ups and downs when it comes to the relative amount of enjoyment. At times, I see this as one of the best isekai mangas to ever exist, but at others, it’s nothing more than a mind-numbing read. Though, I’ll give the flowers where flowers are due, as this has one of the best developments, in plot or character, in any isekai manga, but it also possesses a horrendous amount of unnecessary details that diminishes any form of enjoyment.
The development of the characters or plot may come off cliche or annoying at first glance, but it’s done rather nicely to compliment the story while taking its time. However, if I do have a gripe, it seems that characters are virtually forgotten about once their arc is done and over with with minor mentions here and there, which is quite disappointing and a waste of what the work the author had previously put in. The plot is also full of unique struggles with a hint of mystery, as this is one of the few reincarnation, isekai mangas that the mc doesn’t get spoon fed skills, or experience without much challenge; though, his power-ups seem to appear at “the absolute last moment.”
Now, time to get in the massive negative about this manga: the overwhelming amount of information that needs to be processed in each panel. I know the manga is currently consuming ~5 LN/WN chapters per manga chapter, but the amount of dialog that gets exchanged in a singular panel can sum to half of a novel’s page worth of words, which is ridiculous. That may be a hyperbole, but I can’t count the amount of times where I just mindlessly scrolled passed the dialog as I didn’t care enough to read all of the stats or conversations, which really ruined the immersion of the manga.
This could’ve possibly became the best isekai/reincarnation manga out there, but with how incredibly condensed this manga was made, it ruined most of the potential enjoyment. However, it’s still one of the better isekais to read purely from its ability to develop characters and plot.
