The Baek Clan, one of Zhongyuan’s seven major clans, is the father of Baek Yigang. He is afflicted with a limited lifetime and the inability to gather internal energy due to the Taiyin Qi Blockage. The remainder of his days were being happily spent indoors until he was ambushed by a bunch of disguised individuals.
He lost his servant, who was like a sister to him, in the ambush. Baek Yigang was being pursued by the assailants when he found a hidden underground passage. He picked up a rusty sword that was lodged in the ground when he came across a blocked passage and determined he would at least die fighting.
