It’s back baby! Can’t believe people gave it such bad reviews, as both the art and story are amazing! They really capture that Dungeons & Dragons old school 3rd edition feel!

Finally a manga based on medieval fantasy with a good dose of realism and inspired by AD&D, the role-playing game that is the basis of all that deserves an anime adaptation, the "isekai" theme is popular and far too exploited, too many manga to copy and paste, neuneu or in the messy senario where mc becomes the master of the world with 4 nymphets with 12 years of mental age to take baths, cook, moan at every meal and blush endlessly at every touch or kind word.
under rated, really good plot. 4.5/5 stars. speak of isekai and good and evils gods deeds. Mc is not really op and try to rescue his sister. no spoil . i had a nice read but i saw that chapter becoming shorter but still nice plot.
i thought Munchkin… was supposed to be a min/maxed super OP char via exploiting loopholes in game design, eg:R2 D2 in the webcomic they made as a d&d campaign out of screenshots from the star wars movies?(darths and droids)
Not bad, DnD harem in a fantasy world.
Some of the plotlines don’t make sense and MC acts pathetic at times. He begged adventurers to help form a party with him and they mocked him and laughed at him, then the dwarf grabbed his love interest and placed her on his lap, then molested her. To rescue her, he magically forces the drink to spill causing the dwarf to ignore her. Then a “Lawful Good” monk joins their party and ends up betraying them. Now I get that alignment is ultimately a guideline in the series, but why did all the good aligned characters stand around while a girl was being sexually harassed and a guy begging for help for his sister gets laughed at and mocked?
In fact, once the guild realized she was the daughter of the count they just all started being polite. It’s complete bs.
I mean, really? I know this isn’t a wuxia novel but have some sense of dignity, put them in jail ffs.
Even then the mc does cruel and evil things to the people he cares about. The girl who risked her life to save him form goblins? He tricks her into pawning off her horse. The same warhorse that saved his life too.
It’s edgy in the wrong ways and its humor seems to be done badly.
But the setting is interesting enough I suppose.

If you’ve ever argued over RAW vs RAI at a D&D table, this manga is absolutely in your wheelhouse. Another World Munchkin leans hard into technical, rules-lawyer combat, with fights broken down like a tabletop session—actions narrated, abilities parsed, and dice rolls effectively called out through crunchy explanations and occasional fourth-wall nudges. The hook is delightfully nerdy: an absurdly fragile protagonist (literally 1 HP) min-maxed into a hyper-efficient build that turns every encounter into a puzzle instead of a slugfest.
The story earns its momentum with a clear, concrete goal and steady progress toward it, which makes the constant theory-crafting feel purposeful rather than indulgent. The art is solid and readable, doing a good job selling movement, positioning, and tactical beats. Where the series really flexes is in its love of untraditional character builds and “enemy of my enemy” alliances—very tabletop, very satisfying. There is a generous amount of fan service, which may or may not land depending on your tolerance, but it doesn’t completely derail the plot. Overall, it’s a confident nerd flex that knows exactly who it’s for. Personally, I’d put it at a 4/5—smart, fun, and especially rewarding for RPG fans who enjoy seeing the math work out.
