No idea why anyone wouldn’t like this I think it’s good to great across the board. Good story, great art, compelling characters, interesting premise, good humor. Basically a dark comedy with some political aspects.

I got to chapter 10 and i drop it.
It’s like the Reincarnated as a sword i also drop around chapter 10.

I dont like these stories where the mc be reincarnated to a object and that is not enough cause they also need to have revenge story while dont even talk as to what revenge. MC want to have revenge on some mage that says that his master was the MC disciple so that is enough to have revenge on someone random person. MC makes a contract with a thief guild girl who wants revenge on something we dont know.

The book should be op to make legendary mages so the girl drops out of academy but she still needs fame so needs to join with magic tower that be practically same as academy.

Artwork suggest it’s a comedy even tough genre show adventure and drama.

Well the comment is for me if i think in the future to pick up this again out of boredom and then it be a warning for me. I dont know the level of boredom i need to have that this will make it go away.

the title is misleading, the book teaches the mc rather than the mc becoming op after reading the book.

this would be good if ONLY chapter 1 didn’t exist, like wth is the purpose of that chapter?, the author makes a unique premise of a magic grimoire teaching a swordsman, like wow I would totally read this but then the author just kill him, like TEEHEE he died, now here a story of generic overpowered mage instead.

Great story potential. The title and image threw me off a bit. This is a chaotic story.

I would say this is good but not great. Art is good. Basic story premise is good. Translation is good. However the dialogue is just not super entertaining and I have difficulty maintaining interest as I read. The author tries to sprinkle in humor but most of the jokes seem to miss. The secondary MC is a non-expressive female that carries the story with her out of place reactions to the other characters. The actual MC just provides exposition and reacts to things the secondary MC does. The supporting cast is not really interesting outside of a single illusionist that gets introduced later in the story as a rival character. This reminds me a lot of the “Reincarnated as a sword” manga but without the emotional bond between the sword and the slave girl that wields him. The secondary MC in this does have a similar personality and many parallels to that slave girl from “Reincarnated as a sword” which kind of makes this feel like this author drew a lot of inspiration from that story. I am hoping future chapters will improve on things but for now as of Chapter 15 I will give it a B- grade.
