Aix is a 19-year-old E-Rank adventurer. He is a “prodigy” mage that solely specializes in ‘Effect Duration Extension’. He has spent the last five years working like a slave around the clock throughout the week.
When he finally collapses from exhaustion and wakes up on his doorstep, he finally comes to terms with himself. “I’m going to quit this job!” After quitting his job as an adventurer, Aix announced that he would no longer work.
The people who had been enjoying the benefits of the unusually long duration novice magic cause of Aiz, panicked when they realized that there was no one to replace him, but it was too late.
He smiled and refused all the threats and attempts to coerce him. “I will NEVER work again!” The new life of a novice mage who has been told she won’t work begins now!
I’ve been pondering for a long time why I liked this one despite not being able to explain it myself. until now. the mc reminds me a lot of lamball from Palworld.

I am going to review this twice, because i like it and recommend it to everyone. It has taken me a long time to articulate why i like it, and the answer is that it deviates from a trend i hate which is “i shall pretend to be incompetent!”
Granted, being incompetent is a great way to avoid work, i know this i was in the navy for too long, IF you are in a job that can’t fire you then this is a tried and true method to avoid work. In management this is called “strategic incompetence” it’s twin is “malicious obedience”
However, MC has a spine, and instead uses the power of NO. It’s a powerful word that when used in the right places will get you far in life. MC tells people in power NO, and those people in power try to screw him over as a result. MC sticks to his guns and refuses to budge. Very few modern stories teach meaningful lessons in my opinion, this one does. They use every dirty trick in the book, tricks that are unfortunately all too real in toxic work places, and MC sticks to his guns.
My only complaint, is that i wanted more fallout from his rage quit. However as of this 2nd review we are at chapter 19 so maybe there will be more repercussions, or a new crazy arc begins?

This is a bit of clean fun. I just barely slips out of the G rating once or twice. I like it for that. Not all adventures are violent and ecchi!
This is very good. It may start off slow at first, but later one there is a chapter about a “honey trap” that will escalate in amazing ways.

Is it just me or does Luca look just like Leen
So very first chapter 1.1, a mage that cant even use novice magic said multiple times throught 1.1 and 1.2, then very next chapter 2.1 first panel suddenly hes a mage that can only use novice magic. This alone has me leaving already when they cant get the details right at the start of a series rhats ment to try an get people intrested and hooked to keep reading 4/10 mainly for the art only
