I Have A Slow Living In Different World (I Wish)

Having caught up, I can say I still like it. There are problems: the logic is sketchy and doesn’t work if you think things through. The translation has many mistakes, worst of all the numbers don’t match from one chapter to the next. There is an outbreak of Shouty Anime Disease, where the author doesn’t know how to write dialogue, so the characters shout their lines at each other as though volume = drama and/or humor.

The unhappy commenters mostly object that the story world has slavery, and the MC is uncomfortable with it, but buys slaves. His slaves mostly beg him to buy them, apparently the goddess slipped him the ‘pheremone’ skill off-screen. Also, there is an underage slave, with whom he doesn’t have a romantic relationship because she’s underage, which some commenters call perverted, idk.

It’s dumb fun that’s a little horny, and that’s what a lot of people are here to see. I still recommend, more strongly than before. But really, turn your brain off, the fridge logic is strong with this one.

I’m only on chapter 10 so far. I do like it.

The manga sometimes takes itself seriously, but mostly not. It tries hard to be a comedy with action and ecchi, but it’s not very funny and there’s not really any romance. The characters are interesting but irrational, acting in unjustifiable ways for comedy’s sake. The story is making some sense, and I am looking forward to what happens next, and the fanservice is pleasantly tame. I recommend but it’s not for everyone.
