A brief description of the manhwa Level Up Alone:
Hanyeol worked as a porter. After his long awakening, however, he becomes a hunter. What to do? He has to catch monsters, thereby increasing his level and improving his skills.

Short and simple, I had to drop because It was just to simple, the art is also incredibly repetitive. The facial expressions expectially. This artist really likes cut out mouth shots. Very plain.
If I would to rate this it would be on my level of plain yogurt. Has something, but not everything.
Again a sim and idiot mc.
I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don’t know where it goes
But it’s home to me, and I walk alone
I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
And I’m the only one, and I walk alone
I walk alone, I walk alone
I walk alone, I walk a-
Cool cover still don’t know what the mc goal is
yoooo they added an animated cover pog
Just copying and pasting my comments from anilist:
60/100
Art feels overly simple in a lazy way. Like they tried to create a more detailed piece but used their rough sketches for the base because they wanted to crank out chapters quick. They often use photos that have clearly just been thrown through a filter for backgrounds.
Same basic plot we have seen before. Monsters emerge, hunters with powers to fight the monsters start to pop up. Yatta Yatta Yatta.
Personalities start out really dry. Humor is basically the characters flailing about for no reason. Everyone in this world is stupid and the laws make no sense for the world these ppl live in.
I do like that in this universe you have to manually butcher monsters for drops. They aren’t just like a stupid video game.
Honestly, it’s probably not gonna be that good if my god Penguin hasn’t gotten to it yet, unless he does later. I’ll still try it though lol 🤷
This is solo leveling, but retold by a child that doesn’t understand anything and only uses cliches with bad art. It’s so bad my eyes were rolling chapter after chapter.
Lol what’s the goal of this manhwa growing stronger for his dad or because of the system blah blah blah
This is pretty decent, and also engaging at times so it was easy to read. It’s suspiciously similar to a lot of Korean levelling stories. If you’re going to read this, expect action and drama, but don’t expect too many surprises or depth — nothing is really explained or expressed.
It’s good to binge. The first arc(?) ended so it’s a good time to do just that.
the art is like everyone is fkin dumb and crying all the time
pretty decent so far
Go die in a hole
