Martial Wild West

This is really good. Reading it actually felt like going through an alternate reality with martial arts with the world building being practically perfect and characters who feel like they could actually exist. The plot is quite original, not only in the fact that it takes place in what would be the US, but also in its plethora of plot twists and interactions between characters. The martial arts also aren’t omnipotent, they don’t turn you into a God, keeping the scale reserved, which is appreciable.
It isn’t perfect, there are still a couple plot conveniences and bits of plot armor, but it’s to a comprehensible degree; mc is a wanderer so it’s natural he would end up in lots of interesting scenarios, and his strength doesn’t come out of nowhere either. There were also some authorial choices i don’t fully align with, but it still kept a really good and emotional story. The art isn’t great, there’s lots of simplification in for example characters (eg if you’re not the focus in a panel, your face may be reduced to an empty vaguely curvilinear shape), but it conveys the story well enough, has pretty good choreography and feels
true to the rough nature of the story.

Overall, really interesting and original (aside from quasi-harem), 8.5/10

Edit: it falls off eventually unfortunately, it gets into this rushed repetitive pace. Still entirely readable and entertaining, but little of the value that it had before. Down to around 7/10.
