This is a lot of fun and it has some surprises. When I know where it’s going I still enjoy the ride. A little inconsistent but clever premises and a magic system that makes sense. I recommend and will probably re-read.

Summary: Isekai as a goblin in a world where magic skills are inherited among monsters. Goblins only live a week, but MC has the skill ‘Human Lifespan’, so he easily becomes the leader and has time to gather hundreds of skills and become OP

This story doesn’t run, it teleports. We have a guy who after dieing falls out of the sky as a goblin (who are a very cute species). He finds the wounded demon king, gets his op skill then the goblin village is in trouble cuz one of ’em killed a human and now knights are coming to kill them, to which the MC goes, “Let me,” and decimates them. Only to “convince” them of an “alliance” of sorts to which they accept wayyy to quickly (but hey, maybe he used the demon king’s domination ability that seems broken if it can transcend the species barrier). He then becomes the village chief (how the hell isn’t literally the oldest goblin the village chief? Like they’re in the 256th gen??) only to immediately go with the knight to the town (??? I guess he isn’t worried about the goblins or the humans double crossing him?). I dropped when it got revealed that the “humble gardener” was the count.
This story isn’t fast paced, it’s full paced.

From the start, it feels rushed or fast-paced, like much information will be brought up without proper build-up like you’ll lose your common sense. On the other hand, as you get used to the story, it’s kind of rewarding. You’ll eventually get emersed in the story because of the things like life lessons, I do believe that I learned some life lessons while reading this manga and that’s what got me so hooked up that I gave it a high score and decided to share my feelings. Then after getting so hooked up, you’ll eventually catch up to the latest release and have a sense of emptiness because you have to wait for some time and this time the manga doesn’t have a consistent date of release. Ugh I’m gonna cry

I thought the story was good. It reminded me of a few other mangas, but with a twist. I think it’s a really good story, but the problem I have with it is that the manga moves quickly. Sometimes, certain events will happen and important conflicts/solutions will arise in the event but we don’t get to see what made it happen.
For example, let’s say you have an apple and you lost it, then it cuts to a few seconds before finding it.
The story feels like it’s missing content and it feels odd at times.

65/100. The first chapter is a carbon copy of slime. In the later chapters it starts to create its own identity but it’s nothing special. It’s plot if fairly predictable and generic. MC is both completely capable of understanding situations and forming remedies while being completely dense at other times. These two realities make no sense together. It’s an ok read to pass the time, but there are much better stories out there.
