A brief description of the manga Good Deeds Of Kane Of Old Guy:
Kane, a middle-aged adventurer collecting medicinal herbs, suddenly found the rarest item-「The Resurrecting Fruit」.
Already thinking about how to sell it and get a tidy sum, he, soon after finding it, meets a girl who was looking for a cure to save the life of her companion.
Outwardly, the girl was very much like his dead childhood friend.
Eventually, Kane gave her the fruit in exchange for a little change in his life.
In fact, the girl was the strongest adventurer, Anasteria. People called her the princess of the sword.
The day after the meeting, Kane was unexpectedly invited to join a group of adventurers of the S rank, he defeated the strongest monster, miraculously received a lot of money and finally received a confession from a saint.
Kane’s simple life changes completely because of his meeting with Anasteria.
FUN AND FULL OF SURPRISES, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is a really fun read that knows how to tug at the heartstrings. It has flawed characters that each go through various kinds of growth. Some of them turn into admirable people, some of them just become tolerable. The trio of women that so annoyed the other commenters are a perfect example: The oldest one, who put the group together, doesn’t change much but is slowly confronting the reality that the group is changing and may not stay together. The youngest completely changes her focus and becomes a lot more responsible. The middle one, who originally gets whatever she wants because she’s OP, grows less selfish in stages as she accepts reality and responsibilities, but only in the later chapters does she become someone who reflects on herself (and doesn’t like what she sees).
Also, what looks like a classic harem setup turns into real questions about relationships and what must realistically become disappointments for some characters. The women are attracted to the MC for believable reasons, not because he’s MC. And he’s not oblivious, he has legit reasons to be hesitant about relationships, and he may not be destined for wedded bliss.
About 25 chapters in, the writing style changes a lot. Before then, the villains were not really characters, just cardboard targets. That has begun to change, and the pacing improved.
In between the standard shonen “level up punch-ups”, there are many depictions of loss and grief in this story, and they are compassionate and generally uplifting without being simplistic. There’s a lot here for grown-ups, too.

And this could have been a pretty entertaining manga, if it weren’t for the 3 girls, especially the redhead, she is the most irritating, frustrating and stupid character you will ever now. What the protagonist does is absolutely admirable and is partly understood because of his past, but the redhead just wants to force him to do what she wants to pay her debt her f**king way. She even gets angry at the protagonist doing nice things, bruh, that redhead has no dignity or respect for others, she’s a selfish tr*sh character.
The only reason I give it a 2/5 is because the protagonist and some other characters seem to have some decency, but that l group of c*nts doesn’t
So if you like mangas with girls who are annoying to the bone, this is for you. But if not, better not even try it because you will end up with your nerves through the roof.
This manga should be named: Three annoying c&nts making MC’s life a total shithole

Depicts a slapstick manga featuring a clumsy, dense hero surrounded by women, who stumbles from one mishap to the next only to emerge victorious in the end. If you take mangas seriously, you’re reading the wrong story.
