Summary

A brief description of the manga Over lord:

The legendary online game “Yggdrasil” suddenly closes. Wishing to stay in the beloved world longer, the player who controls the character named Momonga, decides to stay in the game until the complete shutdown of the servers. Momonga – the head of one of the top guild, representing the game “dark” side.

At the moment of server shutdown, he gathered all his servants in the main hall of the guild, sat on the throne and began to wait for the inevitable. But the incredible thing happened: the server did not interrupt the connection, the game continued, and Momonga turned into a skeleton, a powerful wizard.

The non-game characters suddenly began to show human emotions. Not having parents, friends and a place in society, Momonga decides not to try to find a way out of the game, and stay in the new world, in order to win it.

I use to like overlord. I don’t anymore. Being a murder hobo holds some charm. Mass genocide, for no other reason but, because he wants to ”play his part right” as the class he chose. He’s not even having fun, he’s just indulging in the pleasures of his come to life automatons. MC is so OP, he’s like a kid stepping on any bug that happens by, just because he can.

I’m not really down for this story. The only interesting character so far has been Sebas. Everyone else is kind of plain. The MC has no defined set of morals, he is either evil, and nothing wrong with that on a character, or a goody two shoes so long the plot requires it.
I consider this the Twilight of anime, lots of people like it, but it’s not particularly good writting at all.All the episodes so far, including in the anime, have been MC stomping on everyone.
I imagine perhaps there will be one challenging enemy in like, the ending of the story, but right now is boring for me.

Doubt anyone does not know this but the anime has progressed alot further in the story so if you like this you can watch that. Highly recommended anime by alot of peaople.
