Tips: Maybe wait for more chapters so you don’t have to suffer like me at 108 and cry that you have to wait forever for new chapters
pacing, I personally really enjoy the pacing

Final Ranking is a 8.7/10, Its better than your average manhwa, it still has some generic tropes, however its still enjoyable (Definitely better than most manhuas lol)

The story is generic but i like it makes me laugh at least i’m tired of most cultivation works the only good one is reverend insanity as a novel the the rest is just op mc with no personality face slapping again and again harem and fan service 7/10

I loved the 1st arc but after that, it loses steam.
Just “Oh, the user of an art that my 2nd in hand used. What? He forced you to cultivate the demonic devouring technique to torture you? What you have a family that protects a treasure that my enemies are trying to get? What, now that I’ve “saved” you (helped escape the pitfalls of the technique) and conveniently made it in time to save your family, you’ll serve me?

IT’S JUST SO DAMN CONVINIENT!! Nothing is a struggle anymore, not the fights nor the scheming, it’s just boring to read now tbh.

This used to be a read fitting for 4.5/5 but after ch 60 it loses a lot of steam with him getting into all these slice of lifey sidetracks.

I read this along with return of the mount hua sect, and they both start off strong… Def choose that one to read!!!

This series tho, the mc keeps running away or avoiding trouble and ofc tee hee haw haw trouble cant stop avoiding him!! Again and again and ag… :hihi: :saitama: :no:

I mean his original life was a unorthodox badass master, but now he does stuff cuz his elders (former enemies) tell him. Uhh, how about run away from your duties for a year (go out for milk), hide in a brothel for a year and never speak of the wutang clan ever again? Not funny tho! And he can’t waste 10 ch avoiding being a badass until he’s forced to be a badass for 2 chapters. Lather rinse repeat….

Nah, my advice is to forget about this for awhile, let the chaps pile up (if it its good enough to get to 150 ch) and let it all rip. These drip drip filler feeling sidestories drop the overall rating down to 3.4/5

Maybe after 200ch, the real story begins?

The author selling mischief, unlimited false expectation and misunderstandings of the MC.

The art is really good imo, u will see harsh battle covered with funny drawings. The drawing details is pretty good as well. The author even keep draw blood stain on the MC’s clothes and swollen faces for chapters.

The main plot somehow so generic for me. As for strong MC struggle with bounds he had. Strong yet incapable and keep dragged by doing stuffs. It lacks of romances as well, no flashy story branches or etc. And no fans-service panel for u kids too!!

Yet with this lacks, the author able to entertain reader w never-ending jokes and stuffs. I recommend this one for martial and comedy tag. But not for action since the fight panel is better be longer, more flashy and less talks but fight for me.

This series is hilarious and I love it. But the TL is so wrong.
“Path of shaman” sounds already wrong.
The TL with “The Wandering Warrior of Wudang” has a much better TL. I hope they will upload it here sometime…

I’d think chapters were stoOpidly long for a reason and think it’s not haha, I actually prefer webtoons with these lengths as I don’t click and click for next chapters immediately
