Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken

Slime Isekai, my beloved.
Yes I am biased but this manga and its anime are without a doubt my favourite in the isekai genre, and have been for years. I can fully understand that there may be “better” ones out there, Slime however is my ultimate “comfort anime/manga”. Why? Because for me it’s the perfect blend of fun tropes. Wholesome characters and interactions, Nice action, thought out power system, good world building and even some political spiel. Add to that Rimuru creating his own little (later not so little) utopia and a dash of mystery and you have a world that one can only get lost in.
But what really ties it all together is the peacing, yes it can feel slow at times but thats not really the case since something is always happening or building up to it (trust me the labyrinth gets important).
Again, I’m EXTREMELY biased and I’m actively ignoring its flaws (e.g. most of the Characters on Rimurus team have “worships Rimuru” as a defining trait), but I’d like to think it’s for good reason, after all there’s no other isekai I have become so attached to.

Also, opinion on art: pretty good

overall I’d give Slime a 8/10 (Iseaki standards)
but in pure enjoyment an easy 9/10
