7.7/10. The plot is definitely enjoyable, even if it is a lot of just fight after fight with a similar theme of person on MCs side/MC fighting, almost losing, then winning. As in, basically every fight. Still, I do like the concept of MC becoming stronger by literally eating metal.

The art is alright, nothing special. MC has a stupid haircut in my opinion, but oh well. It’s decent, nothing of note. Oh, and the translation is often not very good.

Biggest problem is that, well, y’know the power system? I don’t. As in, the power system just doesn’t really exist. It pretends to exist at first, but too many inconsistencies start creeping up until author just basically forgets anything like it ever existed, and does what they want instead. Literally none of the power system, if you could even call it a system with how nonsensical it is, makes sense.

Despite all that, I can’t stay I didn’t like it. Even with all the BS, I still think it’s a fun read. And for something going for it, I think the flashbacks in this manhwa have been the best I’ve seen. They aren’t long, but they don’t take away from tension either. Definitely try a few chapters, although it does take a while to actually get interesting.
