A brief description of the manga Different World Slow Life Begun at the Smithy:
At the cost of my life, I saved the cat from under the wheels of a truck, but it turned out to be difficult and sent me to another world.
I decided to take place in the new world as an unmatched blacksmith. But I began to make new acquaintances and friends. Because of my friends, I get into various incidents.
I just wanted to lead a quiet life. Isn’t it meant to be?

I like this manga. It’s mostly very pleasant and conflicts are quickly and simply resolved. Everyone is likeable and pretty and easy to root for.
This is a lovely uncle fantasy, but it is a bit weird that sex and marriage just never really occur to him. I’m not complaining that he’s not horny enough, rather that one of the girls clearly wants to be his wife, and there are manga-style awkward situations, but he never addresses it and doesn’t seem to ever think about it. Maybe he was asexual in his previous life, maybe he’s too insecure to believe he could have a mate, maybe he’s waiting for something perfect, maybe he has too little family experience to know how family works… but there should be some story there. He’s as sexless as a Ken doll, and it’s odd and unexplained. That said, I’m still reading, so it’s not ruining it for me.
After reading 22 chapters, it is definitely off to a good start as an okay manga. The problems: It is dialogue heavy in nearly all the chapters but considering that its a “slow” story line it is not so bad. Another problem is that it tries to be technical on its processing of blacksmithing but usually just leaves the ready scratching their heads as it usually missed the mark of what they where trying to achieve or doesn’t align with the story at that time at all. For instance, all weapon smiths know that you can never repair a broken sword as it will become weaker then any normal sword by far, yet his internal knowledge some how doesn’t know this so spends half a chapter trying to do just that. This is the same with taking on blacksmith apprentices (which I commented on during the story) but no blacksmith will share his knowledge unless there is something special going on so to speak. Further problem is the writer forgets what the mc has stipulated what he put as the requirements for his magical swords then remembers them in later chapters. Never try to work out the economics of this profession as well as none of the costs and products would ever manage to match up, especially for what he charges. There is the further romance problems but I think that it is more my pickiness. For instance he has 3 gorgeous girls who often get mistaken for wives or girlfriends but he just family zones them and that’s end of story on that front, which is especially annoying cause the tiger girl is well done and given plenty of hints that she would love to go further but nope. Even with all the problems it still moves at an okay pace and the events still rolls on evenly. I will be book marking to see how it marches on to 50th chapter but it really needs to fix some of the problems for a better read.

Isekai’d by the truck-kun, getting cheat power, but no status windows, almost no battles, surrounded by beauties of different races, but still an enjoyable read. It’s a pity the chapters amounts too little

I proceed to say that this is a gem.
Your typical reincarnation thanks to Truck-Kun, never fails. So the mc reincarnates with blacksmithing hacks that allow him to craft tools that can cut the earth in half if he sets his mind to it (slight exaggeration).
If you want to enjoy this, don’t pay too much attention to the technical side of blacksmithing. For obvious reasons the author of the manga don’t has the absolute knowledge of blacksmithing to make a story of blacksmith faithful to the process and techniques used in real life. Just enjoy the rest without forgetting that this is a story made to enjoy and that you are not supposed to analyze in remarkable depth.
Things aside, it has its dose of comedy and other things that make reading it comfortable, it’s good to relax for a while and enjoy our mc’s blacksmith creations. Together with his family they will spend beautiful moments full of sweetness that will make you smile from time to time.
At the moment there is no fixed course but it is interesting to see what path is taken for now.

This manga gives you so much bliss upon reading it. It is a manga heavily passionate on blacksmithing. This manga is your cup of tea or coffee after a days hard work. This manga deserves my 5/5 stars and your 5/5 stars.
