Story is amazing and entertaining. 
The ONLY problem this series has, is waiting a week after you finally catch up with the manga and the fact that the Anime is soo far behind that most of the epic scenes you’ll see, you’ll want to see animated. I started watching the series before i read the manga, and i didnt want to wait to see what happens. Now ive been waiting every week for the past year.

The pro gaming arc was peak I encourage you to at least finish it
It’s a fun story with a strong premise. It does have quite a few hijinks. The mc being chased by enemies and his crush turns every few chapters into a zany chase sequence.
The fights are shounen, complete with nostalgic “believe in myself” power-ups. This isn’t bad at all. It has some rough spots, but It’s definitely worth a read. In the worst case scenario, you’ll have fun for a few chapters before dropping. You’ve got nothing to lose.
